About the role
- Founding Software Engineer building AI solutions for the public sector with a focus on innovative technologies and impactful products. Collaborating closely with founders in a high-ownership role.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate AI systems in production (e.g., Conversational AI, RAG, agents, voice)
- Develop scalable backend architectures for a multi-tenant SaaS
- Make key technical decisions (cloud, data models, infrastructure, tooling)
- Own features and systems end-to-end — from concept to production deployment with customers
Requirements
- You have already built production software (startup, scale-up, or similar)
- You think in systems and enjoy tackling architectural challenges
- You take responsibility and don’t require close supervision
- You are pragmatic, decisive, and get things done
- You have a genuine interest in AI engineering and practical applications
- You speak very good German (at least C1), as we build for the public sector
