About the role

  • Professional Solutions Manager leading professional services engagements for HPE Nonstop Platform. Collaborating across global teams to deliver complex software projects.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Project Management: Manage HPE Nonstop Platform software-related projects from initial business development through project completion and invoicing. This includes defining technical requirements with customers, managing customer relationships, pricing strategies, and overseeing Statements of Work (SOW) and other contract documentation.
  • Global Professional Services Coordination: Drive professional services activities across all worldwide regions. Build and maintain strong personal relationships with the Nonstop field teams by being highly responsive and prioritizing direct, clear and timely communication
  • Business Development & Strategy: Identify and manage new business opportunities, including drafting SOWs and change orders. Cultivate new vendor relationships with partners to generate new lines of business in emerging areas such as AI and Automation. Work closely with Nonstop Solution Architects to collaboratively generate new business and develop compelling customer proposals.
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison for key customers and manage account manager relationships. Coordinate effectively with professional colleagues in sales, contracts, legal, finance and operations to create project efficiencies and successful outcomes. Stay engaged with existing vendors to identify potential future opportunities.
  • Contract & Financial Management: Collaborate closely with legal and finance departments to create customer proposals efficiently, balancing financial and legal risks with customer demands. Manage the issuance of purchase orders to vendors and ensure timely customer invoicing in coordination with the finance team.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Communicate transparently with internal field personnel regarding the rationale for stringent legal and financial requirements while demonstrating sensitivity to customer-facing pressures. Manage multiple complex deals simultaneously, maintaining attention to detail and ensuring all action items are tracked and completed without compromise.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing technical professional services projects, ideally serving enterprise, mission-critical customers.
  • Strong background in business development, including pricing, contract negotiation (SOWs, change orders), and legal documentation management.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to build rapport with global field teams, customers, and vendors.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen, including managing project costs, revenue tracking, and invoicing processes.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities, manage complexity, and drive projects to successful completion in a fast-paced Global environment.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams including Solution Architects, Legal, Finance, and R&D Labs.
