About the role

  • Channel Sales Specialist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise supporting partners with Storage solutions. Building relationships and driving sales growth through effective GTM strategies and planning.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and Storage expert to the assigned top partner.
  • Demonstrate business and sales leadership by building mutually beneficial relationships with the partner on all levels to grow HPE Storage market share.
  • Drive Storage revenues, profitability, and pipeline by growing your assigned partner, implementing joint GTM activities and data-driven sales efforts with the partner.
  • Qualify and review new leads to drive sales opportunities to closure.
  • Work with partners/ outside sales to ensure a smooth sales transaction.
  • Manage all HPE resources as they relate to supporting the partner mission and communicates value of the solutions to better differentiate HPE from competitors.
  • Build targeted sales pipeline and forecast data driven sales activities.
  • Coordinate activities with the Partner, including sales cadence, education, proactive forecasting, business planning, and client engagements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field (preferably IT/economics)
  • Typically 3+ years of selling experience at end-user account or partner level
  • Solid knowledge of HPE’s storage solutions and excellent skills to pitch our solutions in front of partners and customers
  • Profound experience in developing positive relationships and solving customer problems
  • Ability to look forward and anticipate partner needs, proactively forecasting sales quota and effectively bridging sales gaps
  • Specialist level account management, acquisition, retention and development skills
  • Proven track record in channel, partner, alliance management is clearly advantageous
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively meet deadlines
  • Innovative mindset to think beyond proscribed solutions, and take proactive steps to advance HPE’s sales efforts
  • Proficient usage skills in a CRM system to manage business relationships and the data and information associated with them
  • Business fluent German language skills, plus excellent command of English.
