About the role

  • SharePoint Architect responsible for driving design, implementation, and optimization of HPE's SharePoint and M365 environment. Collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain SharePoint Online and On-Prem (if applicable): site architecture, permissions, tenant settings, search configuration, content migration, versioning, and lifecycle management.
  • Implement and enforce governance: site provisioning, security groups, permission models, retention policies, compliance, and auditing.
  • Monitor performance, capacity, availability and cost of SharePoint and related services; implement best practices and optimizations.
  • Support and troubleshoot SharePoint issues, provide user support, and create documentation and training materials for users and administrators.
  • Provide architectural guidance Power Platform solutions: Power Apps (canvas & model-driven), Power Automate flows and ALM Pipelines.
  • Assist migration of legacy SharePoint to updated Data verse solutions, entity models, and security roles where applicable.
  • Follow established governance, testing, deployment and release processes for SharePoint/Power Platform/Copilot solutions, including ALM, source control and environment management.
  • Suggest improvements as observed.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, estimate effort and manage delivery.
  • Stay current with Microsoft 365, Power Platform and AI/Copilot roadmap and recommend adoption strategies and improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience administrating SharePoint Online (and/or SharePoint Server), including tenant administration, site architecture, and governance.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience building Power Platform solutions: Power Apps, Power Automate.
  • Demonstrable portfolio of apps/flows/reports you’ve delivered.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience developing or configuring Copilot Agents or similar generative-AI assistants, including prompt engineering, integrations with knowledge stores, and implementing monitoring/feedback loops.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features: Azure AD, conditional access, Microsoft Purview/Compliance, Information Protection, DLP, retention policies.
  • Deep knowledge of Dataverse, Microsoft Graph, SharePoint REST/CSOM APIs, and custom connector development.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with Power Platform ALM and CI/CD concepts, source control (Git), and environment management.
  • Scripting and development skills: at least one of PowerShell, TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, or .NET for automation/customizations.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills, ability to analyze logs and telemetry, and experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 admin center, Azure Monitor).
