Construction Engineer creating 3D models and drawings for power plants, optimizing existing designs, collaborating with teams and suppliers.
Responsibilities
Creation of 3D models, general arrangement drawings, as well as detail and manufacturing drawings including parts lists for power plant and plant engineering
Optimization and further development of existing 3D models of components, welded assemblies and piping constructions
Selection of purchased parts, specification of materials, preparation of ordering and assembly instructions
Performing technical calculations, depending on qualification
Collaboration with external planners, suppliers and manufacturing companies, and close communication with project team members
Active participation in working groups on project- and process-related tasks
Requirements
Degree in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering or a comparable discipline with a focus on design; alternatively, a technician with equivalent qualifications and initial professional experience
Professional experience in design/engineering
Knowledge of weld- and coating-compliant design of metallic components
Proficient in using CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor
Good command of English
Interest in developing technical solutions and working them out in detail
Entrepreneurial mindset, flexibility and commitment
Willingness to independently familiarize yourself with other technical areas
Ability to work under pressure
Team player with good interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities
