About the role
- Civil Engineer designing layout projects for DPaschoal's retail stores. Involves technical support for maintenance and new space creation to enhance work conditions.
Responsibilities
- Develop layout projects for stores and support areas as needed, driven by the improvement of workstation arrangements and the creation of new spaces, themed or otherwise, where internal and/or external events will be held and where work teams may be located.
- Provide technical support to units regarding building maintenance, clarifying technical questions, advising on cost-effective purchasing options for products, and supporting the hiring of quality service providers.
- Prepare layout designs and descriptive specifications for renovations, whether for opening, closing, or revitalizing units. Based on the defined scope, prepare estimates for services and material purchases, hire service providers, and ensure the execution of the work through final delivery, including timelines, quality, and technical compliance.
- Provide technical support for maintaining the external visual communication of units, such as façades and totems, and support internal visual communication requests that require building adjustments. Lead renovations or replacements of external visual communication when necessary.
- Monitor the performance of the area's expense accounts and approved investments, including reclassification of expenses and action plans to reduce or appropriately use budget funds.
- Support auxiliary departments in preparing projects related to the units.
- Carry out administrative processes such as: invoice entry, validation of area account expenses, supplier registration, monitoring contractors' documentation, and preparing construction contracts.
- Support the Legalization area by providing information and documents related to façades and unit layout projects and/or building adjustments required for unit legalization.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Availability to travel.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of SAP and Power BI is a plus.
- Experience overseeing building maintenance and contractors during renovations.
- Preferably experience with maintenance in companies that are not construction-focused, especially retail.
