About the role

  • IT Support Technician providing assistance to users and resolving incidents for a technology services company. Engaging with customers through phone and email to support IT needs.

Responsibilities

  • Receive user requests (by phone and email).
  • Analyze and document the user's request.
  • Perform an initial remote diagnosis.
  • Triage and resolve incidents by creating and following up on tickets to ensure their closure via our ticketing system.
  • Assist users with the use of their equipment and business applications.

Requirements

  • Self-taught and passionate about IT OR higher education in computer science (e.g., BAC Pro SEN, BTS SIO, or DUT in Networks and Telecommunications).
  • Technical knowledge: proficiency with the Windows environment (Microsoft Office, Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server).
  • Networking and helpdesk experience.
  • Good database knowledge: SQL Server / MySQL, Oracle.
