About the role
- Full Stack Engineer at Gridware leading development of full-stack systems for core platform. Designing scalable services for monitoring electrical grid using advanced technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and scale backend services that connect thousands of Gridware devices to the cloud, enabling real-time monitoring and fault detection
- Build and maintain user-facing applications and interfaces that surface fleet health, events, and operational insights
- Develop and optimize APIs (including GraphQL) and data pipelines powering both internal tools and external workflows
- Ensure performance, reliability, and usability across both frontend and backend systems
- Collaborate closely with firmware, data, and design teams to deliver seamless end-to-end product experiences
- Contribute to architecture decisions across the stack, improving scalability, data flow, and system resilience
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in **full-stack or product-focused roles**
- Experience building and owning **end-to-end products**, from backend services to user-facing applications
- Strong experience with **frontend frameworks (React/TypeScript)** and modern backend technologies (Python, Postgres)
- Experience building and maintaining **GraphQL APIs**
- Ability to thrive in a **low-structure, high-autonomy environment**
