About the role
- Field Service Engineer commissioning systems for various industries. Responsibilities include training, oversight, and client support post-commissioning in a technology company.
Responsibilities
- Commission our systems worldwide and hand them over to our customers
- Independently take responsibility for commissioning sub-systems (raw material supply / mixing / drying)
- Coordinate and supervise our subcontractors during commissioning
- Provide training and onboarding for customer personnel and jointly conduct acceptance runs/tests to hand over the plant
- Support warranty interventions as well as service assignments
- Prepare functional descriptions for the process-engineering parts of the plant
Requirements
- Degree (Process Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics / Chemistry or comparable) or technician qualification in a related field
- Ideally professional experience in the building materials or chemical industry, or production experience in gypsum processing or insulation manufacturing
- Also suitable for career changers with the necessary technical understanding, skills and enthusiasm for commissioning, including of more complex machinery
- Strong organizational skills and assertiveness
- Good command of English and willingness to travel worldwide
- Good knowledge of MS Office and strong technical aptitude
