About the role

  • Site Manager overseeing ongoing photovoltaic projects, from licensing to commissioning at Greenvolt Next Romania. Managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support in ongoing licensing processes and development of necessary documents to be able to submit the process;
  • Elaboration of specifications for subcontracting projects and construction;
  • Review and critical analysis of projects, and their adaptation to the constructive reality;
  • Control of subcontractor works such as installation and structure and photovoltaic modules, installation and cabling of solar cables, installation and cabling of photovoltaic inverters;
  • Follow-up (progress and quality of your works, coherence with the drawings);
  • Support the subcontractor in case of need, technical issues;
  • Assistance with the commissioning of the photovoltaic plant;
  • Preparation of weekly activity reports for the hierarchical superior;
  • Plans and supervises all relevant works at site analysing priorities;
  • Conduct site surveys according to GV Group parameters and guidelines for preparing the Execution Project;
  • Resolves issues related to manpower, materials delivery to meet performance, timings and costs;
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors for the installation phase;
  • Oversee day-to-day operations at construction sites;
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols and regulations;
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules and deadlines;
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of workmanship;
  • Address any issues or discrepancies promptly;
  • Act as a liaison between the firm and subcontractors;
  • Communicate project updates and progress to senior management;
  • Address and resolve any communication issues within the team;
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop comprehensive project plans and timelines;
  • Order budgets for projects construction and procurement;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation;
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Identify potential issues and risks on-site and propose effective solutions;
  • Address conflicts or disputes among team members or subcontractors;
  • Stay informed about changes in relevant regulations;
  • Provide regular project status updates during team meetings;
  • Management, maintenance, and monitoring of projects after the commission phase.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills, proactive, motivated, and goal-oriented;
  • Knowledge of AutoCad, MS Office, PVSOL, PVSYST;
  • Knowledge of using other electrical sizing software;
  • Knowledge of low voltage electricity, medium voltage and communications networks;
  • Driving license B;
  • Fluency in English.
