About the role

  • Sales Manager leading growth in German-speaking market for Power Grids and supporting energy transition. Collaborating with teams to monitor market developments and boosting commercial opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and realise growth ambition in the German-speaking market of Power Grids
  • Work closely with other Sales Managers and Key Account Management organization
  • Monitor and anticipate market developments, enable a coordinated market approach
  • Increase visibility in the market and extend C-level relations
  • Generate leads and act as the opportunity owner for medium to large opportunities
  • Support operational delivery teams with setting priorities during resource scarcity
  • Act as a thought leader within the area and contribute to the development of the Annual Operating Plan

Requirements

  • Strong skills in business strategy, sales pipeline management, and market analysis, with a focus on advisory services
  • Experience in identifying opportunities, managing bids, and increasing market presence
  • Demonstrated ability to seize and close commercial opportunities and impact business growth and profitability
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Proven ability to coach/mentor and develop professionals
  • In-depth knowledge of the Electricity Transmission and Distribution sector in German-speaking markets
  • Good understanding of the Transmission and Distribution market, in particular related to Grid Utilization, transformation and congestion management, its players, and dynamics
