About the role
- Finance intern supporting a smart energy startup's financial processes and reporting. Engaging in accounting, financial management, and collaboration with the finance team.
Responsibilities
- Accounts receivable & deadline management: You oversee accounts receivable and deadline tracking, collaborating with your team lead to navigate and improve efficient financial processes.
- Accounting: You are the organizational expert for outgoing invoices, monitor the outgoing invoices ledger and process supplier invoices independently using DATEV.
- Monthly reporting: Your attention to detail comes into play during the monthly preparation of the management accounting report (BWA). You also actively support the quarterly preparation for shareholders' meetings.
- Monthly payment run: You handle the monthly payment run and coordinate with our tax advisors to ensure smooth financial flows.
Requirements
- You are an enrolled student (minimum 3rd semester) in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field.
- Ideally, you have already gained hands-on experience in controlling and finance through internships.
- You are skilled at analyzing financial metrics and have very good Excel skills.
- Your attention to detail makes you the perfect sidekick the finance team needs when navigating the numbers jungle.
- You impress us with very strong communication skills in German and English, along with a professional demeanor.
