About the role
- Technical Engineer managing Greenlight’s Developer Platform for Mobile and Backend. Collaborating with teams to enhance developer productivity and implementation of productivity tools.
Responsibilities
- Take charge of Greenlight’s Developer Platform, enable high developer productivity and code releases across all engineering teams, influence change and drive critical metrics towards efficient releases.
- Collaborate with engineering managers, quality engineers, platform and other engineering teams to understand requirements and design solutions that meet developer and business needs.
- Communicate technical decisions and strategies effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to improve our platform's capabilities.
- Participate in the recruitment process by identifying and interviewing potential candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of technical experience with Developer Platform tools and systems in addition to strong developer enablement and development tooling experience.
- Proficiency in Cloud technology and industry leading developer tools.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with CI/CD pipeline including backend release patterns and tools.
- Ability to influence large engineering teams and align around Mobile development and release practices.
- Experience providing mentorship and technical guidance to team members in a highly collaborative environment.
- Strong customer mindset and the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment to meet business outcomes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound and oftentimes innovative technical decisions.
