About the role

  • Engineer in Electrical Engineering responsible for detailed planning and coordination of new installations in energy infrastructure. Working collaboratively to meet standards and ensure operational functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Grid connection planning: You are responsible for the detailed planning and coordination of grid connections for new installations.
  • Certification & standards: You support certification processes and ensure, together with the grid operator and the certification body, that all relevant standards and regulations are met.
  • Technical coordination: You assist with the contracting and installation of substations, low-voltage distribution systems and metering equipment.
  • Commissioning & parameterization: You accompany the commissioning of inverters (WR), EZA controllers and telecontrol/remote telemetry systems, and assist with the parameterization of protection devices.
  • Teamwork: You work with cross-functional stakeholders and colleagues from project planning.

Requirements

  • Technical expertise: You bring practical experience in planning and implementing grid connections — from medium voltage through transformer stations to the development of measurement, protection and control concepts.
  • Regulatory understanding: Ideally, you have a solid understanding of regulatory requirements, are familiar with certification processes and can provide standards-compliant solutions up to the declaration of conformity.
  • Structured working: You organize your work independently and keep an overview even when managing multiple projects.
  • Communication & interfaces: You communicate clearly and confidently and coordinate smoothly with grid operators, certifiers and internal teams.
  • Analytical & solution-oriented: You quickly grasp technical interdependencies and find pragmatic solutions.
  • Team player: You enjoy working in a team, contribute ideas and help achieve shared success.
