Finance Operations Manager responsible for AP, AR, and financial controls at ProCook. Leading financial policies and improving efficiency with a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
Oversee core finance processes, ensuring robust financial controls, and driving operational efficiency across the finance function.
Own end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and employee expenses.
Lead process improvements and enforce financial policies across the business.
Manage and develop the AP team to ensure high performance and accountability.
Drive consistency and accuracy in invoice coding, ensuring alignment with financial reporting requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments.
Maintain cash flow management through effective AR and AP oversight.
Own the cash reconciliation process for Retail stores and Ecommerce platforms, investigating discrepancies appropriately.
Manage credit control to minimise aged debt and improve cash collection.
Identify, design, and implement process improvements across finance operations.
Act as a key finance partner, providing guidance on financial processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve financial discipline and operational outcomes.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
Requirements
Proven experience in a Finance Operations / Finance Manager role
Demonstrated experience managing and developing finance teams
AAT Level 4 Qualification, or equivalent
Strong background in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and expense management
Solid understanding of financial controls, processes, and compliance requirements
Track record of delivering process improvements and operational efficiencies
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems
Exposure to system implementations or finance transformation projects
Excel and data analysis skills
