Responsibilities
- Design and build the company’s first centralized data warehouse from the ground up.
- Provide the executive team with the visibility required to manage the business.
- Deliver high-impact, priority dashboards for executives and key stakeholders.
- Build and own end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Define standardized data models, KPIs, and a company-wide data dictionary.
- Establish data governance and security controls.
Requirements
- Proven experience building a data function from scratch in a startup or scale-up environment.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar cloud data warehouses.
- Advanced SQL with strong data modeling and performance optimization skills.
- Working knowledge of Python for ETL, analysis, or automation.
- Strong prioritization skills and the confidence to focus on high-impact work.
- Ability to clearly communicate data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Able to work independently, owning work end-to-end with little guidance.
- A practical and problem-solving mindset.
