About the role
- Director of Treasury overseeing treasury & cash management functions for GS Foods, leading AP and AR for nationwide locations. Collaborating with executives to streamline financial operations.
Responsibilities
- The Director of Treasury is responsible for leading all treasury & cash management functions.
- Direct oversight of AP and AR for all locations nationwide.
- Provide integral support to the CFO, Sales leaders, Operations leaders, and CEO.
- Oversee daily cash reporting, consolidation, & distribution to management.
- Manage monthly budget vs actuals cash reporting and variance analytics.
- Work with AR & AP teams on appropriate forecasting of receivables and disbursements weekly.
- Collaborate with internal departments to improve and automate financial systems.
- Manage and maintain the Capital Expenditures & Capital Lease tracking across locations.
- Work closely with sales and customer service teams to manage credit-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field required.
- CPA/MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of related experience.
- ERP system experience, with NAV experience preferred.
- Strong partnership skills and proven financial support of various functions throughout the company.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization.
- MS Office and other applicable financial software applications; Workday Adaptive a plus.
- Individual should be a power user in excel and have strong experience with pivot tables, matches, and other key formulas.
- Significant experience with three statement models and iterative reference is preferred.
