About the role

Responsibilities

  • Part of the team implementing project sponsorships in the field of key technologies
  • Planning and organizing national and international research funding activities
  • Advising and supporting parties interested in funding and applicants
  • Reviewing, assessing, and overseeing research and development projects
  • Analyzing and evaluating new trends in research and development and their application prospects
  • Supporting clients in strategic, conceptual, and technical matters

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a master's degree and a PhD in physics
  • In-depth knowledge in fusion research and/or closely related subfields of physics
  • Initial experience in industry and/or research environments
  • Interest in innovation and research policy
  • First experience working in interdisciplinary teams
  • Confident demeanor when engaging with stakeholders at various levels
  • Excellent German (C2) and strong English skills (C1)
