About the role

  • Entry-level Paralegal supporting a global financial information business with regulatory and governance documentation. Manage legal documents and collaborate with legal and finance teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage legal, transaction and governance documents from initial review through execution and archiving
  • Act as point of contact between legal, finance, compliance and business teams
  • Coordinate and process documentation including KYC and beneficial ownership materials
  • Ensure document handling aligns with governance standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain document repositories, trackers and records with a high degree of accuracy
  • Identify opportunities to improve document workflows and approval processes
  • Escalate delays, discrepancies or compliance issues as required
  • Support multiple client and internal requests while meeting agreed timelines
  • Build effective working relationships with clients, partners and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies or a related discipline (or paralegal certification)
  • Exposure to legal document workflows; KYC or entity management experience is advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Professional discretion when handling confidential information
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across senior and junior stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems

Benefits

  • Paying up to $28,000 per annum / $14.00 per hour (W2).
  • 12-month contract.
