Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and communicate modeling plans and simulation strategies (FEA) to the engineering organization.
- Create and execute Finite Element Analysis (FEA) plans for assigned components and subsystems.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of finite element models within the team.
- Evaluate simulation results, interpret trends, balance requirements, and recommend technical solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, technicians, suppliers, and leadership teams.
- Support the introduction of new tools, processes, and simulation methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Computer Science Engineering.
- Strong experience with commercial CAE tools for pre/post-processing and solvers, such as: LS-DYNA (highly preferred) NASTRAN ANSYS Abaqus or other similar FEM tools
- Relevant experience applying CAE methods in product development.
- Solid understanding of simulation workflows in Safety (Crash) or Durability is a plus.
- Advanced English (required for global collaboration).
- Experience in the automotive industry (highly valued).
- Experience in Tier 1 suppliers or engineering consulting (strongly considered).
