Responsibilities
Support process for powertrain control requirements development
Design, simulate, implement, debug, test and research control and estimation algorithms for various electrical, mechanical, and thermal systems in powertrain systems
Engage with suppliers and other stake holders to review hardware and software attributes
Develop the Software and Controls for the electrified powertrain
Requirements
Engineering/Science Degree (or equivalent)
Automotive engineering knowledge / experience in design and validation for electrified powertrain systems
Experience of automotive control systems software development, data logging and calibration tools
Proficient in MS office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Willingness and ability to interface constructively with a global team
Driving license valid for driving in the UK
Experience in electrified powertrain area (Preferable)
Knowledge in machine learning, AI algorithms and predictive control systems (Preferable)
A working knowledge of vehicle architectures, communication protocols CANFD, FlexRay and Automotive Ethernet (Preferable)
Awareness of ISO 26262 and ASPICE (Preferable)
Experience with Vector (e.g., CANalyzer, CANape) and Mathworks tools (e.g. Matlab/Simulink) or equivalent (Preferable)
Ability to work in an agile work environment (Preferable)
