About the role
- Procurement Officer managing all contracted passenger transport for Gloucestershire County Council. Delivering training, coordinating reports, and managing contractual documentation.
Responsibilities
- Procure and contractually manage all the Council's contracted passenger transport
- Coordinate investigations and prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders as and when required
- Deliver training to service areas within the Council on the various types of transport we can procure on their behalf
Requirements
- Proven track record of being very well organised
- Experience of working in a busy team environment
- Ability to work well independently
- Proficient and accurate in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to prepare and manage all contractual documentation for the transport provision
- Confidence at public speaking and able to deliver training to large groups of people, in person or via TEAMS
- Ability to find solutions and work to tight deadlines and targets
- Flexible approach
- Willingness to accompany Transport Engineers to site inspections as and when required
