Responsibilities
Drive strategic uplift in contract management performance, capability and governance
Identify emerging issues, shape improvement initiatives and ensure contract management drives best value and aligns with department’s priorities and operating needs
Lead the design and delivery of an improvement program
Facilitate workshops, apply structured problem-solving approaches, and build roadmaps
Provide valuable advice on contract management practice
Support the ongoing development of the Contract Management Framework
Influence decision-making by clearly articulating outcomes and benefits
Coaching and mentoring to uplift internal capability in contract management
Requirements
Extensive experience in managing strategic contracts across their lifecycle
Deep understanding of contract management frameworks, risk management, and performance management
Expertise in designing and delivering improvement programs in large complex organisations
Advanced understanding of contract governance, dispute resolution, and supplier performance management
Expertise in risk-based contract decision-making and contract variation strategies
Familiar with predictive contract analytics for trend forecasting and supplier risk identification
