About the role
- Financial Controller at GKN Aerospace working on financial reports and management processes. Collaborating with teams on financial analysis and adhering to accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Maand-kwartaal en jaarafsluitingsproces;
- Analyse en beoordelen van diverse balansposten;
- Verantwoordelijk voor de maandafsluiting van diverse werkmaatschappijen inclusief het opstellen van de reporting pack;
- Monitoren van naleving van interne richtlijnen, wet- en regelgeving, en accounting standards
- Uitvoeren van periodieke interne controle programma’s
- Documenteren van controls (bijv. Beoordelen memoriaalboekingen, aansluiting administratie op reporting pack, controle op stamgegevens, etc);
- Assisteren bij accounting vraagstukken en voorbereiden accounting papers (bijv impairment tests, waardering van voorraad, voorzieningen, etc);
- Assisteren bij het opstellen van de jaarrekeningen;
- Assisteren bij internal en external audits, opvolgen van actiepunten, etc.;
- Ad hoc rapportages (bijv. CBS statistieken, projectrapportages).
- Bieden van ondersteuning aan het General ledger team.
Requirements
- Bachelor in de richting van Accounting, Finance of Bedrijfseconomisch
- Je bent goed in het opstellen van financiële rapportages, het uitvoeren van de P&C cyclus en het signaleren van verbeteringen in de AO/IC
- Een aantal jaar ervaring in de functie Financial Controller
- Ervaring vanuit een accountskantoor is een pre
- Je bent toe aan een stap in je carrière en werkt graag in een dynamisch, wereldwijd opererend bedrijf
- Je spreekt goed Nederlands en Engels.
