About the role

  • IT Support employee providing technical assistance and solutions in a humanistic association based in Berlin. Aiming to enhance IT infrastructure and support user inquiries effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and handling user inquiries as well as conducting structured analysis and documentation of incidents
  • Regular checks and monitoring of our IT infrastructure components
  • Supporting colleagues on-site in projects at the state headquarters as well as remotely
  • Independently developing and implementing solutions for everyday IT challenges
  • Preparing and resolving complex issues in 1st- and 2nd-level support
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of Windows 11 workstations and mobile devices
  • User support for Microsoft 365 (e.g., Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office applications)
  • Handling hardware and software requests and processing tickets in the internal ticketing system
  • Documenting solutions and maintaining our internal knowledge base

Requirements

  • Completed IT training (e.g., IT specialist) or comparable practical IT qualifications
  • Initial professional experience in 1st and 2nd level support / help desk
  • Experience with ticketing systems, ideally Atlassian Jira
  • Practical experience with Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Ubiquiti UniFi systems
  • Enthusiasm for working in 1st- and 2nd-level support and in direct contact with users
  • Driving license (minimum class B)
  • Good German language skills, spoken and written
  • Strong communication skills, reliability, and an independent, structured working style
