About the role

  • IT Systemadministrator handling user support and IT systems management in a hybrid work environment. Focused on hardware/software issues, network management, and IT projects.

Responsibilities

  • User support and troubleshooting: Assist with IT issues; diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems.
  • Installation and configuration: Install and configure PCs, laptops, printers; set up user accounts and software updates.
  • Network management: Manage and monitor networks; support LANs, WANs, and VPNs; perform network troubleshooting.
  • Data backup and recovery: Perform regular data backups, maintain disaster recovery plans, and execute data restoration.
  • Security management: Implement security measures, manage antivirus software and firewalls, and provide IT security training.
  • Documentation and reporting: Document IT processes, produce reports, and maintain a knowledge base.
  • Training and development: Conduct employee training on new technologies and IT systems.
  • Hardware maintenance and repair: Maintain and repair hardware, monitor infrastructure, and manage warranty claims.
  • Project support: Contribute to IT projects, collaborate with other departments, and support IT initiatives.
  • Helpdesk management: Manage helpdesk tickets, prioritize and escalate support requests, and ensure prompt resolution.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or a degree in IT
  • Ideally 3–5 years of professional experience
  • Interest in improving and developing structures and processes
  • Ability to read and understand English manuals/instructions
  • Team player
  • Reliable, service-oriented working style and self-directed learning ability
