Responsibilities
- Testing, evaluating, and advocating for the quality and performance of GeoSoftware applications
- Contributing to the automation testing strategy, developing and executing automated test cases
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets quality and usability standards
- Identifying opportunities for automation, maintaining and enhancing existing test frameworks
- Ensuring continuous integration pipelines are robust and reliable
- Driving quality improvements, reducing manual testing efforts, and accelerating release cycles
- Contributing to automation test documentation (strategy, plans, cases)
- Designing, authoring, and executing automated functional test cases
- Identifying, documenting, and verifying defects
- Creating and managing test data for automation
- Analyzing and communicating incomplete requirements
- Automating manual test cases within a framework
- Providing test estimates and reviewing test artifacts
- Working within Agile/Scrum cycles
- Following and evolving automation testing standards

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/Technical Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software test automation
- Experience with various automation testing methodologies, including automation frameworks and tools, with exposure to manual testing practices
- Experience with coding in any language
- Familiarity with test management and automation tools
- Experience generating GUI automation scripts
- Proficiency with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira)
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Background in desktop application development
- Strong English communication (written and verbal)
