About the role

  • Director overseeing training and organizational development initiatives focused on LGBTQIA2S+ elders at GenPride. Building partnerships and improving inclusivity within aging service organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, cultivate, and secure fee-for-service contracts and partnerships.
  • Develop pricing, packaging, and marketing strategies with GenPride leadership.
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with institutions and sectors critical to LGBTQIA2S+ aging.
  • Provide coaching, facilitation, and technical assistance to partner organizations to improve inclusivity in policies and practices.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and community elders to create and implement a comprehensive training and organizational development strategy that promotes culturally responsive aging services for LGBTQIA2S+ communities.
  • Ensure design and delivery center racial, aging, and LGBTQIA2S+ equity.
  • Adapt training for a wide range of partners across housing, healthcare, and business sectors.
  • Manage and maintain learning platforms and tools to expand program reach and track outcomes.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using participant feedback, performance measures, and impact on service quality; continuously improve offerings based on findings.
  • Position PrideReady as the trusted resource for LGBTQIA2S+ cultural humility training.
  • Partner with staff to create proposals, reports, and marketing content.
  • Pursue media, speaking, and partnership opportunities that expand reach and impact.
  • Integrate equity commitments into program, partnerships, and organizational practices.
  • Supervise and support facilitators, contractors, and team members as PrideReady grows.
  • Track and report financial, programmatic, and impact outcomes.
  • Contribute to shaping a mission-focused, inclusive, joyful, and community-centered organizational culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in training, learning and development, consultation, and enterprise initiatives.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of LGBTQ+ communities, aging services, and the intersectional challenges faced by LGBTQ+ older adults.
  • Proven success in business development, fee-for-service growth, or contract management.
  • Expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and facilitation.
  • Experience delivering training across diverse formats (workshops, webinars, e-learning, coaching).
  • Proficient with CRM and data systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Skilled in writing, public speaking, and storytelling.
  • Knowledge of senior care and service systems in King County, including retirement communities, nonprofits, and healthcare providers.
  • Experienced in coordinating and collaborating with staff, contractors, and volunteer facilitators.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptable to new technologies.
