About the role

  • Product Manager driving digital transformation within GEICO’s Claims Injury team. Leading cross-functional product development from concept to delivery at a prominent auto insurer in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch
  • Break down complex problems into steps that drive product development
  • Support horizontal teams focused on enhancing digital claims experience
  • Guide customers seamlessly from initial notification of injury through to offer stage
  • Drive GEICO's digital transformation by collaborating with teams to implement cutting edge technologies
  • Foster a culture of innovation and ensure seamless integration of digital solutions across the organization
  • Work with Engineering and Business on requirements and coordinate/communicate between different workstreams.
  • Lead cross-functional teams that drive results during product discovery and product delivery
  • Own and prioritize the long-term product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes
  • Leverage modern architecture & great design to identify problem-solution fit
  • Evaluate trade-offs and negotiate requirements
  • Create and use compelling, informative artifacts to influence stakeholders
  • Understand current and future state architecture
  • Evaluate and decompose user needs into technical features and stories
  • Hands-on experience with building, implementing, and monitoring API’s
  • Identify and measure KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in Product Management
  • At least 5 years of experience translating features into consumer or associate facing products
  • At least 5 years managing all aspects of a product feature throughout its lifecycle from concept to delivery
  • At least 5 years leading cross-functional teams that drive results during product discovery and product delivery
  • At least 3 years of experience building and shipping technical products
  • Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions
  • Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction
  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, or Marketing
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Insurance Injury experience preferred
  • High sense of accountability and strong problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as software engineering or computer science
  • Agile certifications preferred (i.e., SAFe, Scrum Alliance, Scrum.Org, ICAgile, PMI-ACP)
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tooling to accelerate product delivery.
