About the role

  • Connected Flow Supply Planner at GE Aerospace coordinating material flow for jet engine production. Managing schedules and supplier relations within a team environment in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs
  • Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
  • Optimize inventory and process improvements
  • Create pull loops for supplier PN’s
  • Establish supplier WIP & finished goods protocol
  • Establish supplier inventory strategy
  • Establish forecast/supplier under consumption protocol
  • Facilitate & support Daily Management problem solving

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Supplier Relations, Materials and/or Production Planning)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Supplier Relations, Materials and/or Production Planning
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills
  • Strong Excel knowledge and execution
