About the role
- Connected Flow Supply Planner at GE Aerospace coordinating material flow for jet engine production. Managing schedules and supplier relations within a team environment in the aerospace industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
- Optimize inventory and process improvements
- Create pull loops for supplier PN’s
- Establish supplier WIP & finished goods protocol
- Establish supplier inventory strategy
- Establish forecast/supplier under consumption protocol
- Facilitate & support Daily Management problem solving
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Supplier Relations, Materials and/or Production Planning)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Supplier Relations, Materials and/or Production Planning
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
- Strong Excel knowledge and execution
