About the role
- Project Manager for GDIT responsible for managing project scope, schedule, and performance across defense and intelligence sectors. Leading project teams and ensuring successful project execution and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Managing the project stakeholders, project team, project risk, project schedule, and project conflicts
- Planning, executing, managing, and closing projects that meet or exceed customer objectives in assigned projects
- Conducting plans and providing recommendations to the client on task workloads
- Ensuring team members understand and execute their respective roles and the roles of the other team members
- Coordinating resolution of production-related problems/roadblocks
- Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Coordinating development of deliverables and services
- Ensuring proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of engineering services
- Ensuring production schedules are met and system resources are used effectively
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI poly
- Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline +6 years’ experience or the equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work/military experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience managing projects through project life cycle
- Solid organization skills and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
