About the role

  • Finance Manager providing financial leadership for technology capital and expense portfolios at Gap Inc. Emphasizing accounting for emerging technologies including cloud computing and asset depreciation.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver qualitative financial management for technology portfolio projects
  • Drive the depreciation forecasting and annual budget process
  • Manage the tracking and recording of cloud computing implementation costs
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and value technology assets
  • Lead and develop a small team, supporting skill development and fostering a collaborative environment

Requirements

  • 7+ years of related business experience in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial statements including balance sheets and general ledgers
  • Proven ability to cultivate innovation and drive improvements in financial and operational processes
  • Experience in technology accounting, including asset capitalization, depreciation, and cloud computing financial management a plus
  • Highly skilled in Excel and entire MS Office suite
  • Oracle Financials experience preferred
