About the role
- Lead corporate planning and reporting processes, optimize workflows through digitalization and automation, and deliver data-driven reports and strategic analyses to support decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Manage corporate planning: As a Controller (m/f/d) you will own the corporate planning process, including scheduling, stakeholder and interface communication, and substantive coordination.
- Optimize processes: By managing and continuously improving planning, forecasting and reporting processes—with a focus on digitization, automation and the adoption of new tools—you will actively advance GAG’s corporate planning and reporting capabilities.
- Develop reports and dashboards: To provide data-driven decision support, you will create and optimize reports and dashboards in Excel, Jedox and Power BI, documenting methods and results in a transparent and traceable manner.
- Analyze key metrics: Your responsibilities include ensuring data quality in planning and reporting processes, preparing relevant datasets, and deriving concrete recommendations for action from KPI analyses.
- Prepare reports: You will independently prepare the management report for selected group companies and develop audience-appropriate management reports for corporate planning.
- Provide strategic advice: You will support our business units as a sparring partner and deliver well-founded analyses of management information and key decision-making processes. In addition, you will contribute to other controlling processes such as forecasting.
Requirements
- You have a degree in business administration with a focus on controlling or an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience.
- You have solid expertise in controlling and corporate planning and ideally several years of experience in the real estate industry.
- You possess strong experience in managing projects and processes, preparing annual financial statements, and have independently designed, developed and optimized corporate planning and reporting processes.
- You are able to structure complex issues clearly and evaluate them comprehensibly.
- You combine professional strengths with enthusiasm for innovation, evaluate new tools and technologies, and integrate suitable solutions efficiently into existing workflows.
- As a Corporate Planning Controller (m/f/d) you think analytically and holistically, work in a solution-oriented manner and have a good feel for different perspectives, requirements and people.
- Confident use of Microsoft Excel and modern visualization tools is a matter of course for you.
