About the role

  • Sales Representative managing new customer acquisition and existing client relationships in Southern Germany, Austria, and Switzerland for Funkwerk technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Actively acquire new customers and maintain existing client relationships within the sales territory of Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland
  • Plan and conduct customer visits and business meetings to drive sales
  • Identify new market and sales opportunities
  • Present products and services on-site to customers
  • Prepare quotations and conduct contract negotiations
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies
  • Participate in trade shows and events to represent the company
  • Maintain the customer database and provide regular reports on sales activities
  • Support sales-related projects

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in business administration, sales or a related field
  • Professional experience in sales, ideally in public transport (ÖPNV) or the rail sector
  • Ability to identify and respond to customer needs
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Structured working style and independent, goal-oriented approach
  • Confident user of MS Office and CRM systems
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and, if necessary, internationally for customer support and business development
