About the role

  • Procurement Specialist managing purchasing processes at Funkwerk for transportation and digital infrastructure. Engaging in supplier management and procurement documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Handling and meticulous documentation of all procurement processes for a selected product group covering materials and service providers.
  • Conducting and evaluating tenders (RFQs).
  • Supplier selection.
  • Maintenance and development of existing suppliers.
  • Concluding framework agreements and supply contracts as well as project-related contracts with suppliers, and negotiating the corresponding terms in coordination with the Head of Purchasing.
  • Ensuring material availability for all internal stakeholders of the company.
  • Cross-departmental communication.
  • Contributing to the digitalization and continuous improvement of procurement processes.
  • Implementation and support of new procurement tools.
  • Further development and maintenance of the e-procurement system.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training (e.g., Industriekaufmann/-frau) with a strong IT/digital focus, or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in operational purchasing.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Business-fluent English.
  • Above-average commitment, team orientation, and self-motivation.
  • Very good MS Office skills and SAP experience.
  • Flexibility and resilience, along with an independent and responsible working style.
  • Excellent communication skills.
