About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage global initiatives and oversee subsets of global programs (transitions, migrations, rollouts) within your region
- Build strong relationships with local business stakeholders
- Establish standardized processes to introduce and support global initiatives
- Ensure successful regional rollouts aligned with global standards
- Lead and motivate project teams within a matrix organization
- Govern the domain’s portfolio prioritization processes associated delivery methods
- Manage and deliver large-scale projects or smaller programs throughout their full lifecycle
- Develop and implement processes in collaboration with Operations to ensure smooth handovers and operational readiness
- Contribute to the domain’s strategy development in alignment with the business' strategic imperatives
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and initiating enhancements to existing processes, methods, and standards within the project environment
- Own project budgets (internal and external), ensuring financial discipline and transparency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CWNA) preferred
- At least 15 years of professional experience leading IT infrastructure projects in an international business environment
- Proven track record of success in delivering complex, global initiatives and regional rollouts (Agile, PMP, or similar frameworks)
- At least 5 years of experience leading technical teams in global enterprise environments, with a focus on infrastructure
- Familiarity with structured (Agile and Waterfall) project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2) and ITIL practices
- Proven ability to manage budgets
- Fluent in English and German.
