About the role

Requirements
- Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary teamwork and advancing innovative approaches in remote sensing, computer vision, machine learning, and neuroscience
- Enrolled in a Master’s program in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computational Linguistics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Media Informatics, or a comparable degree program with strong academic performance
- Research interest in one or more of the following areas: Reinforcement Learning for LLMs and AI agents, Multimodal Learning, Self-supervised Learning, and Computer Vision
- Strong proficiency with programming languages and tools used in data science and AI, particularly Python, and familiarity with NumPy, OpenCV, Pandas, SQL, Docker, Git, etc.
- PyTorch experience: hands-on experience training machine learning models on one or more GPUs; ability to work with existing codebases and to start training runs
- Broad programming background, including practical AI methods and related areas
- Excellent written and spoken English
