About the role
- Senior AI/ML Engineer at S-Payment, part of DSV Group, developing AI-driven payment solutions. Designing and implementing a central AI platform and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities
- You are passionate about data, complex systems, and everything related to AI and want to help shape the payments world.
- You support the development of the company's enterprise-wide central AI platform and AI use cases.
- You work cross-departmentally to continuously ensure very high quality in AI integration and AI workflows.
- You develop and establish new AI-driven use cases in the payments domain.
- You actively take on mentoring and coaching of junior and professional team members.
- You bring your motivation to work with data into daily work and inspire business units with data-driven use case ideas.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- At least 8–10 years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence
- Deep knowledge of Python and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, LangChain, Hugging Face, or comparable frameworks
- Practical experience with Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and model fine-tuning
- Experience with MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow) in on-premise and hybrid cloud environments
- Knowledge of data protection (GDPR), IT security, and governance related to AI systems
- Experience integrating ML systems into existing IT infrastructures, including network security, authentication, and data management
- High self-motivation, responsible work ethic, and strong strategic understanding for advancing AI systems in a corporate context
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
