About the role
- Senior Lead Developer & Integration Architect at FPT Deutschland GmbH, focusing on SAP CRM/IS-U development and S/4HANA transformation in hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications in CRM/IS-U and S/4HANA Utilities.
- Extend SAP CRM WebUI/ICWC interfaces and build Fiori apps for S/4U scenarios.
- Implement solutions with ABAP OO, OData/Gateway, Workflows, BRF+.
- Own and optimize CRM Middleware (BDOC/PI) and integration paths into S/4 environments.
- Analyze, prioritize, and sustainably resolve incidents and problems.
- Execute and coordinate corrections, optimizations, and minor enhancements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and derive structural improvements.
- Collaborate with business departments, application support, Basis/DevOps teams, and external service providers.
- Build stable data integrations and support migration activities.
- Ensure system performance and reliability.
- Contribute to the S/4 Utilities roadmap in major transformation projects.
- Use dedicated sandbox and vanilla test environments for prototyping and exploration of new technologies.
- Work in agile project setups (Scrum/SAFe) and coach nearshore/offshore developers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in SAP CRM/IS-U development.
- Strong skills in ABAP OO, OData/Gateway, BRF+, and Workflows.
- Hands-on experience with CRM WebUI/ICWC customizations.
- Practical experience in S/4HANA Utilities projects (migrations, Fiori app development, data models, IS-U → S/4U processes).
- Solid understanding of energy & utilities processes (e.g., quotation, contracting, KKM, campaigns, B2C/B2B).
- Languages: German (C2) and English (fluent).
- Comfortable working in agile, multicultural delivery environments.
