About the role

  • Senior FP&A Analyst driving budgeting and forecasting for EMEA Commercial business. Collaborating with key stakeholders on financial performance and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for yearly budgeting, monthly forecasting and closing process, including but not limited to:
  • Support monthly forecasting for the entire EMEA Commercial P&L, Working Capital, Headcount, Installed Base
  • Analysis and reporting of operating costs and operating efficiencies in consultation with respective Budget Holders
  • Support Sales Directors and other Budget holders with defining and executing cost efficiency initiatives
  • Support monthly financial close process, maintain efficient feedback loop with Finance Shared Service team to ensure smooth process
  • Drive business control over EMEA Commercial P&L, ensure business events are correctly reflected in the financials
  • Coordinate financials review with Finance Shared Service during monthly financial close process
  • Advise country controllers over expected business events which would require financial/ accounting support
  • Support EMEA Sr. Finance Director with developing customer financing solutions
  • Support Commercial teams on evaluating Business cases related to placements, rentals, demo pools and trials
  • Preparation of the monthly Operational and Sales review decks, which act as the baseline for management decisions
  • Regular update of the KPIs, support the introduction of new KPI’s and coordinate with stakeholders
  • Responsible for coordination of the annual Operational and Financial planning
  • Modeling for decision support in all facets of the business
  • Provide analysis and insight on key competitors
  • Organizing and prioritizing workload so that key duties/projects are completed on a timely basis
  • Participate in Kaizen events and lead cross-functional project groups
  • Deputize EMEA Sr. FP&A Manager on all matters related to FP&A activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience required (FP&A or Commercial Finance). Advanced degree is a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel skills is a must (advanced user of pivot tables and complex formulas, comfortable with manipulating big amounts of data)
  • Experience with any major ERP (SAP, Oracle)
  • Planning and Consolidation tools (Hyperion, Onestream)
  • An experience with BI tools ( PowerBI, Tableau) and practical implementation of the AI tools is a big plus.
  • A `self-starter` mentality and proactive approach to propose and implement improvements
  • A ‘hands on’ work style, comfortable with the detail, and able to move seamlessly between tactical and strategic issues as required
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, handle a demanding and fluctuating workload and at the same time provide accurate and reliable data
  • Demonstrated thoroughness and attention to detail with a steadiness under pressure
  • Solid communication and presentation skills
  • Confident, enthusiastic and a team player
  • Fluent in English is a must.
  • Any additional European language is a plus
