About the role

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer designing and implementing marketing automation solutions. Enhancing customer engagement and driving business growth using Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Development & Automation: Developing and implementing integrated marketing automation solutions, including complex customer journeys using Journey Builder and automated workflows via Automation Studio.
  • Data Management & Analytics: Ensuring data integrity by creating, managing, and optimizing Data Extensions, audience segments, and data flows.
  • API Integrations & Customizations: Building custom integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and various external systems, including Salesforce CRM, databases, and other marketing tools, using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Email & Landing Page Development: Designing, developing, and deploying responsive, dynamic, and personalized email templates and landing pages using HTML, CSS, and AMPscript.
  • Troubleshooting & Optimization: Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development and implementation.
  • Platform Proficiency: Proven expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, and Data Extensions.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in:
  • AMPscript: For dynamic content and personalization.
  • SQL: For data extraction, segmentation, and manipulation.
  • HTML/CSS: For building and refining content blocks, email templates, and landing pages.
  • JavaScript (including SSJS): For advanced scripting and interactive elements.
  • Integration Experience: Solid experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP) to connect Marketing Cloud with external platforms and CRM systems.
  • Data Management: Strong understanding of data modeling, data configuration, manipulation, advanced segmentation, and audience management within Marketing Cloud.
  • Marketing Best Practices: Deep understanding of marketing automation principles and email marketing best practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
