About the role
- QA Specialist ensuring stability and reliability across Forcepoint.com platforms like Drupal and Next.js. Responsible for comprehensive testing and validation of web experiences.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the final approval gate before deployments to production.
- Conduct comprehensive regression testing for frontend and backend changes across Next.js and Drupal.
- Validate new features, bug fixes, UI updates, component changes, and CMS updates.
- Ensure changes do not break Core Web Vitals, accessibility, user flow, or SEO-critical elements.
- Perform functional, UI, cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive testing.
- Validate content updates, translations, and multi-language releases for consistency and accuracy.
- Identify, document, and prioritize clear and actionable bug reports.
- Communicate issues to engineers with precision, clarity, reproducible steps, and severity levels.
- Partner with developers to isolate causes, prevent recurrences, and validate fixes.
- Maintain consistent QA workflows and ensure all changes follow proper release protocols.
- Raise red flags early.
- Advocate for quality, consistency, and long-term maintainability across the team.
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of hands-on web QA experience
- Strong understanding of how enterprise websites fail and how to prevent regressions
- Experience testing React/Next.js applications
- Familiarity with Drupal
- Experience with QA tools: BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Lighthouse
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect prioritization
- Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser testing, and web fundamentals
- Experience writing clear, concise, actionable bug reports
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to see edge cases others miss.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
