Responsibilities
The Finance Manager (m/f/d) is responsible for financial management and development at Foodvibez GmbH
This role combines operational finance tasks with strategic planning and serves as a central interface to executive management
The objective is to enable sustainable growth, ensure financial transparency and support informed decision-making in a dynamic food and e-commerce environment
Build, maintain and enhance the financial and reporting system
Preparation of monthly financial statements, forecasts and budget plans
Cashflow management and liquidity planning
Analysis of revenue, cost and margin structures (including SKU and channel level)
Management of external accounting and tax advisors
Ensure accurate balance sheet and profit & loss (P&L) reconciliations
Oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Responsibility for tax and financial compliance
Analysis of online sales channels (e.g. Shopify, TikTok Shop, Amazon)
Coordination of retail sell-through, commercial terms and returns
Development of system-supported KPI dashboards
Close collaboration with executive management, supply chain, marketing & operations
Establish scalable finance processes across logistical and commercial workflows
Support pricing strategies and margin optimization
Ad-hoc analyses for expansion, new products and sales channels
Preparation of investor reports and board materials
Support in fundraising processes and bank communications
Participation in financing discussions and due diligences
Requirements
Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field
At least 2 years of professional experience
Experience in e-commerce or FMCG is an advantage
Knowledge of financial planning, accounting & controlling
Proficient with Excel/Sheets and ERP/BI systems; ideally: experience with DATEV
Hands-on mentality and strong numerical skills
Ability to set priorities in a dynamic startup environment
