Responsibilities
Researching, reviewing, drafting, organizing, and analyzing legal issues related to the topics assigned
Preparing legal templates for global use within the company
Developing training materials or document SOPs
Building relationships across the Legal function and other corporate and business functions to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization;
Identifying and recommending improvements to policies and procedures that will reduce the administrative burden on customers while ensuring the accuracy of data/information being gathered
Requirements
Law student who has completed your first year of law school with a minimum 3.2 GPA (3.5+ GPA strongly preferred), unofficial transcript required.
Must be able to work 15-20 hours a week.
Proficient using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent written (writing sample required) and verbal communication skills.
Able to effectively interface with various internal and external parties, including management, suppliers, and customers.
Previous work experience in an office (or similar) environment required.
Capable of executing tasks independently and are proactive in seeking assistance and guidance, when needed.
Can maintain and respect the company’s confidentiality requirements.
Demonstrate a high level of maturity, independent judgment, adaptability, and professionalism, including an ability to manage multiple tasks in an environment with ever-changing priorities.
Possess a superior attention to detail with a strong work ethic and a drive for high quality work product.
