About the role

  • Adjunct Faculty teaching undergraduate/graduate Legal courses at Strayer University. Role involves both hybrid teaching and maintaining academic excellence through engagement and mentoring of students.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality education and maintain high standards of academic excellence
  • Teach assigned courses in person and asynchronously online
  • Maintain office hours as assigned
  • Utilize online learning platforms
  • Establish high standards and ensure students understand evaluations
  • Adhere to University policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Master’s level degree in the discipline
  • Juris Doctorate or Master of Laws required
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • 5 years of legal experience with some experience in Business Law preferred
  • Teaching experience at the college level and online teaching experience preferred
  • Professional certification in discipline specialty (if applicable)
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
