Responsibilities
Oversee the collection of fundamental data needed across Fitch Group, working extensively with other Data Operations teams
Ensure highest levels of data quality for Banks financials, validating data processed by analysts
Understand Fitch’s business priorities and resource constraints, translating strategic initiatives into practical projects
Maintain ownership and manage workloads effectively, while adapting to changes
Identify trends in fundamental data across jurisdictions and build consensus for standardized approach
Document methodologies on data definitions and identification in financial statements
Act as lead data steward for documentation of standardized terms in Collibra
Provide training and ongoing support to teams capturing fundamental data
Manage client service and stakeholder expectations with professionalism
Create key management reports and present results to stakeholders quarterly
Requirements
Experience of working with Banks financial data, in a financial institution, accountancy, auditing, counterparty credit risk environment, with an understanding of IFRS, GAAP & wider accounting fundamental processes.
Ability to work independently, whilst also being a strong leader with the ability to inspire others within a team environment.
A CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CFA qualified would be preferred.
To be a self-starter who can pick up new processes quickly and accurately.
Have a can-do attitude to problems.
