About the role

  • Operations Executive managing export operations and overseeing customer service at Cencora. Focused on logistics and compliance for international shipping across Asia.

Responsibilities

  • Export Operations Monitor Transport Management System screens applicable to both export and import as assigned through available system reports.
  • Prepare and arrange appropriate packaging for collection of shipments with shipper on day-to-day basis.
  • Being accountable of stock management, ensure sufficient stocks are available at Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos People's Democratic Republic.
  • Supervise shipping team to ensure smooth running of day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare accurate documentation with customs house and airlines with smooth export operations.
  • Adhere and complies with local regulations with marking and labels being in accordance with Airport Authority of Thailand and the International Air Transport Association Dangerous Goods Regulation.
  • Dispatch and monitor collections and ensure confirm uplift by airlines for all outbound shipments including domestic and international locations and airline transfers.
  • Check and replenish refrigerant when necessary for all outbound shipment including shipments transiting Thailand and agent’s offices under Bangkok control.
  • Ensure all charges are updated in the system.
  • Monitor domestic and international agent’s service performance as per World Courier’s standard operation procedures.
  • Monitor and update pickup and delivery of shipments fall under assigned territories for Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos People's Democratic Republic.
  • Cost savings - Target (average) total cost savings spot rates/Cargo Accounts Settlement System booking/ integrators, packaging placements, Spot savings non-billable Final measurement will be based on Profit & Loss - airfreight planned percentage for each fiscal year.
  • Act as a backup support for required necessary inbound activities.
  • Customer Service Response to telephone calls with effective information/assistance as required.
  • Active action on timely manner for all email correspondences to both external and internal customers.
  • Assist both external and internal customer either with billable or non-billables by creating an order in Transport Management System or other available global system within timely manner.
  • Track and trace all shipments from pick-up till deliver with prompt updates to the customers.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
  • Support Business Growth by coordinating closely with Business Development team to create and build sustainable strong relationship with customers.
  • Monitor and action on Ok to send for both billable and non-billable as well as export and import shipments.
  • Identify any resources and areas for improvement for yearly budgets and planning.
  • Any additional tasks as required by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Logistic or business administration or other related disciplines.
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in air export operations.
  • Prior experience in working in a multi-cultural environment is an added advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to express oneself clearly in conversations, interactions and business writing with others.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with employees at all levels within the company and also with external parties (e.g. partners, clients, vendors etc.).
  • Having a high sense of integrity, transparency and accountability in all work tasks and interactions with others.
  • Must be able to work with and handle highly confidential data.
  • Detailed, well-organized and able to multi-task and support multiple projects at the same time, prioritizing required actions accordingly to meet required deadlines.
  • Strong drive to remain focused, self-motivated and committed to completing or achieving tasks.
  • Ability to understand the proper allocation of resources for the purpose of getting things done within a defined timeframe.
