Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive understanding of our business lines and their strategic objectives in relation to financial operations.
Serve as the main operational contact for Fitch Learning, ensuring smooth financial operations and reporting
Lead the integration process for the newly acquired business, coordinating with relevant teams to embed best practices.
Master workflow systems from order to cash & purchase to payment, proposing process improvements.
Manage monthly performance reporting with full accountability.
Support FP&A by building robust reporting structures and refining financial forecasting models
Prepare analyses and provide actionable insights for senior management.
Drive process enhancements in financial operations to support strategic business goals.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that drive efficiency.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial data is available for decision-making.
Offer ad hoc support to explore trends and resolve emerging issues
Function as a reliable Business and Finance partner to the Fitch Solutions Management Team and Group Finance/Accounting.
Working with senior stakeholders to influence major financial decisions.
Requirements
Prior experience in accounting or finance, with a background in operational finance or business integration.
Proven experience of business operations and process improvements that have been delivered
Experience with integration projects following business acquisitions.
Proficiency with ERP systems and financial software applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
Problem-solving abilities utilizing available resources effectively.
Fully Qualified or part-qualfied Accountant.
Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
