About the role
- Tech Lead driving the design and delivery of IBM iSeries solutions at Fiserv. Leading teams to develop scalable architectures and uphold high code quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, testing, and implementation of IBM iSeries applications to support Fiserv business objectives.
- Translate client and stakeholder requirements into technical specifications and estimates.
- Write, review and maintain high‑quality RPG/CL and DB2/SQL code; drive peer code reviews and CI practices.
- Mentor and coach developers, providing technical guidance and promoting best practices.
- Identify, track and mitigate technical risks while collaborating with cross‑functional teams (Agile/Scrum).
Requirements
- 8+ years of enterprise software development experience.
- 5+ years of hands‑on IBM iSeries (AS/400) development (RPGLE, CLLE, Free‑Format RPG).
- 3+ years working with DB2/SQL and IBM RDi in production environments.
- 2+ years leading technical teams or mentoring developers and performing effort estimation.
