About the role
- Data Analytics Lead focusing on data-driven projects in a fast-growing FinTech company. Collaborating with senior leadership to enhance business impact through analytics and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- The role will **report directly to Senior Leadership** and **offer high exposure to the executive leadership team**, working on strategic priorities.
- There will be **limited repetitive or process-based work**. The majority of the focus will be on projects that deliver real business impact.
- Projects will **vary in nature, scope**, and duration, making this role ideal for candidates who **enjoy variety and tackling new challenges**.
- Example projects could include:
- Restructuring our analytics tables to ensure consistency across the firm, fast retrieval, and user-friendly creation of new metrics.
- Diagnosing issues with our sales funnel and working with our sales team to improve processes, including AI-automated solutions where possible.
- Building a churn-prediction model that will help us to pre-emptively engage with customers at critical junctures.
- Conducting price elasticity analysis and designing and implementing experiments to test the hypotheses.
- Automating our weekly and monthly reporting to surface insights and allow us to see the “so what.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or similar field.
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in a Tech company or fast-paced environment, with hands-on experience implementing solutions and getting things done.
- Strong problem-solving skills - can take a structured approach to break down a problem and work out how to solve it.
- Strong analytical skills - exceptionally proficient with data and analytics tools (SQL, Python at a minimum) and is able to structure model tables to ensure consistency, rapid retrieval, and user-friendly data exploration.
- Highly practical - having taken a problem and found a solution, can then drive it to execution to deliver tangible outcomes for the business.
- Able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
